Meet the Platinum Rehab Team
Eddie Cornejo, PT, MPT, CFMT
I’m Eddie and I am a co-owner of Platinum Rehab Physical Therapy, P.C. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly Pomona and went on to graduate from Azusa Pacific University in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. In 2018 & 2019, I was accepted into a clinical residency through the Institute of Physical Art, whereby I spent 15 months and 1500 clinical practice hours honing my manual therapy skills. In August 2020, I sat for the week long, extremely rigorous clinical and practical exam to obtain the distinction of becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist through the IPA.
As an extremely active person, I understand how important it is for your patients to return to full function. While you are away, I focus on providing your patients with a high level of care on an individual basis. To see my resume and credentials, please click here.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and taking my girls to do anything that involves dirt or water, including off-roading, hiking, fishing, and boating.
Melanie Cornejo, PT, MPT
My name is Melanie and I am co-owner of Platinum Rehab Physical Therapy, P.C. I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, completed my post-baccalaureate work at Southeastern Louisiana University, and then went on to continue my education at Azusa Pacific University, earning my Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2003. I am an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
When I am in your clinic, your patients can expect to be treated with respect by a PT with great confidence and a very upbeat attitude. I strive to create as much consistency for my patients as I can while filling in for the primary therapist, so I take my time to review their charts and stick with the plan of care. When I am not in the clinic or running the daily operations of Platinum Rehab, I am spending time with our two beautiful daughters, Harper and Reese. As a family, we spend as much time as we can playing outdoors, riding bikes, surfing, and skiing/snowboarding in Mammoth.
